Dr. Willem is a highly skilled and compassionate veterinarian with a BVSc in Veterinary Science from the prestigious University of Pretoria in South Africa. With over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, he has worked in a variety of settings including equine reproduction, small animal emergency referral, and general practice. Willem founded and ran his own successful practice in South Africa before moving to Australia in 2019.
Willem is known for his focus on providing compassionate care, enhancing the lives of pets and their families. He excels in soft tissue surgery (from minimally to advanced) and has a wealth of knowledge in pet nutrition, behaviour, and preventative integrative health. Dedicated and passionate about his work, Willem is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in veterinary medicine and continuously seeks to expand his knowledge and skills to better serve his patients. His ultimate goal is to enhance the lives of pets and their families by providing the highest standard of care possible, ensuring they live happy and healthy lives.
Away from the clinic, Willem enjoys fantasy games and finds solace in the serene beauty of the Dandenong Ranges, where he resides with his artistic wife, their guitar playing 11-year-old son, their beloved hound, MotorTreacle, and their bengal cat, Bruenor. His personal life, much like his professional one, is characterised by a rich tapestry of experiences and a profound dedication to family, community, and the animals he serves.

Dr Sarah has been living in the yarra ranges region since her graduation in 2022 from CSU in Wagga wagga! She learned to work with a variety of animals and has worked in a number of mixed practices since graduating. Dr Sarah has a special interest in poultry, she loves chickens and has been doing extra learning since graduating to best care for these patients. Dr Sarah has been locuming at clinics around victoria to help with the vet shortage and doing some mobile vet work on the side for the last year and really loves the area. Dr Sarah has a passion for mental health and wellness in the veterinary profession and has started her own podcast series - The Vets on Fire to support other veterinary professionals navigate burnout.

Susan has over 15 years of experience in veterinary nursing. In that time, she has worked in general practice and emergency referral centres. She has a particular interest in emergency and critical care, canine reproduction & poultry husbandry. Susan has volunteered for various animal welfare programs and her local animal reserve. She is a member of Dogs Victoria and attends conformation shows and dog sports with her whippets.
